Establishment of specialized courses and departments at Yokohama City High School

As one of the new features of municipal high schools, we have set up specialized courses that allow specialized learning such as art and sports.

<Features of this course>

• Specialized courses required for entering the university, as well as regular courses required for entering the university, will be set up in each grade.
• We will improve performance skills with a focus on brass band instruments.
• Set your own subjects to learn the basics of becoming a music instructor in the future.
• In cooperation with the music university, we will improve our expertise through the guidance of professional instructors.
• We hold special lectures to touch real art to enrich sensibilities.

<Characteristics of this department>

• Students will systematically learn "sports science" from basic theories on body structure and mental mechanisms to coaching and sports psychology necessary as a leader, from the first to third graders.
• Students will learn specialized subjects such as "sports marketing" that link sports and business, as well as specialized subjects that lead to qualification acquisition and certification, and nurture the ability to become independent in society.
• We consider club activities as a place to practice learning. By enhancing training, you will be able to manage your body and improve your skills.
• Activates sports club activities.
