1 Overview
Private school subsidy The city will support a part of the cost of the side meal cost (Note) among the expenses required to provide meals during the educational hours of kindergarten users.
In addition, those who use special support schools are not eligible for this project.
Flyer for supplementary benefits
It is not eligible.
This is because food costs equivalent to side dishes, such as side dishes, snacks, milk, tea, etc. are covered.
Target person
Those who meet one of the following requirements are eligible.

3 Subsidiary contents
Of school lunch costs, city assists "equivalent to side meal costs" (side dishes, snacks, milk, tea, etc.) up to a monthly upper limit of 4,800 yen.
(Example)
・A Kindergarten B, paid 6,000 yen for side meals using school lunch from October 1 to 31.
→ Mr. B's supplementary benefit is 4,800 yen.
・Mr. D of Kindergarten D paid 4,000 yen for side meals using school lunch from October 1 to 31.
→ Mr. D's supplementary benefit is 4,000 yen.
4 Application method
Fill in required items on the “Supplementary Benefit Grant Application Form (Supplementary Benefit Grant Application Form (Supplementary Benefit Grant Application Form for Collection of Side Food Expenses)” distributed by the garden, and submit it to the park.
※If you submit the “Supplementary Benefit Grant Application” in the middle of the fiscal year, please submit it to Children and Families Support Division, where the kindergarten is located.
At a later date, please confirm the presence or absence of "subsidies for side meal costs" in "Matter decision letter about assistance of side meal costs" sent from ward.

(Note) Please submit "Sibling Child Reduction registration form" even if the sibling elementary school student leaves the park.
Points to note when applying
・When submitting the “Supplementary Benefits Grant Application” after submitting the application for benefits certification, the submission address must be the ward office Children and Families Support Division of the ward where the garden is located. Children and Families Support Division).
・If you submit a “Supplementary Benefit Grant Application” after the start of the use of the garden, it will be applied from the 1st of the following month (or the 1st of the current month if submitted on the 1st).

5 Receipt of supplementary benefit expenses
The garden charges the city on behalf of the guardian and receives it on behalf of the guardian.
Parents will receive a reduction or refund from the garden for the supplementary benefits for supplementary benefits.
6 When there is a change in the application contents
After submitting the “Supplementary Benefit Expenses Grant Application”, if there is a change in the household status or taxation status, submit the “Supplementary Benefit Expenses Change Application Form” to the ward office Children and Families Support Division of the ward where the garden is located (Children and Families Support Division in the ward where the guardian lives).
※Please submit the “Supplementary Benefit Expenses Change Application Form” with a mark on the “Change Application Form” part of the “Supplementary Benefit Expenses Grant Application Form and Change Application Form” in “4 Application Method” above.
※If you submit the “Supplementary Benefit Expenses Change Application Form”, it will be applied from the 1st of the following month (or the 1st of the current month if submitted on the 1st).

7 Subsidiary meal cost subsidy “Yes / No” (April / September)
(1) Year change of sibling (1st to 3rd children) (April)
Every year, when switching in April, the siblings category (first to third children) are switched. (You do not need to apply for a parent.)
Regardless of the change in "Yes / No" of the side meal cost assistance, all applicants will be notified by the "Matter change notice regarding assistance for side meal expenses" sent from the ward Children and Families Support Division in March.
(2) Year change of municipal tax amount to be used to determine side meal cost subsidy "Yes / no" (September)
We switch year of municipal tax amount to use for decision of side meal expense assistance "yes, none" to municipal tax amount of new year. (Every September)
※As a general rule, there is no need to repeat the procedure.

・We use "municipal tax income percent" for target calculation of this project. Of the tax credits, items other than the adjustment deduction amount and income percent adjustment (home loan deduction, hometown tax deduction, etc.) are not eligible for deduction when calculating the income percent used as the basis for calculating this project, The amount of income percent used for calculation may be different from the income percent of municipal tax.
・From 2018, tax sources were transferred from prefectures to government-designated cities, and the tax rate for municipal tax was changed from 6% to 8%. Calculate using
・Parents who do not have municipal tax information due to overseas residence, etc., need to submit an “Overseas Income Declaration Form” and certificates such as income and deductions during the overseas working period.
・If you live abroad and do not have municipal tax information, the amount of income during the overseas working period will be calculated as the amount equivalent to municipal tax and determine the exemption from the side meal cost subsidy. In addition, even if there is municipal tax information, if there is foreign income, we will add income from home and abroad to determine the target of side meal cost subsidy.
・If you have not yet declared municipal tax or do not submit proof materials to confirm, you will not be able to make a decision on side meal cost assistance.
・If the municipal tax of parents (for single-parent households, father or mother) is exempt and the total monthly income is less than the social security standard, the higher municipal tax among the dependents (grandparents, etc.) of living together's dependents (grandparents, etc.) Calculate by adding the tax amount to the parents' tax amount.
