Ookagawa (Ookagawa)
The Ookagawa River originates in Kanazawa Ward, Isogo Ward and Konan Ward around Mt. Enkai, joins at Sasano Bridge near Kami-Ooka Station, passes through Minami Ward and Naka Ward, and flows into Yokohama Port in the Minatomirai district.
The main flow of Konan Ward is Sasa Shimokawa, which flows in front of Kusaka Elementary School, and Hinokawa, which originates in the Hino district.
The Ookagawa diversion channel, which began construction in 1969, was completed in 1981 as a flood countermeasure in the downstream area. .
It is poured into Negishi Bay in Mori, Isogo-ku near JR Isogo Station from Hino solid-dimensional Hino in Hinokawa to Sasashitagawa Uchikoshi.
