Hirato Nagatanikawa
Hirato Nagatanikawa originates near Nobacho, Konan-ku, and flows almost parallel to Route 2 in Konan Ward and joins the Akuwa River in Kashiocho, Totsuka-ku to form the Kashio River.
The merged Kashio River is a second-class river in the Sakaigawa water system. It is a river that joins the Sakai River near JR Fujisawa Station and flows into Sagami Bay near Katase, Fujisawa-shi near Enoshima.
Green is seen in the middle stream near Shimonagaya, but as it flows through the urban areas of Konan Ward and Totsuka Ward, it is a river with little green overall.
Upstream near Kaminagaya, there is a main road from Loop Route 2 to Kaminagaya Station on the Municipal Subway, and on the south side of the river, there is a small green forest of Nagatani Tenman-gu Shrine, a landmark.
Upstream from Morai Bridge, the Morai River Seseragi Green Road is followed by a Noba agricultural area and a lush coastal landscape.
One of the tributaries, Serigaya River, flows through Serigaya from near Serigaya Minami Elementary School and joins at Shimonagaya 1-chome.
Renovation was started in 1970, and the planned renovation extension is 4.92 km from the junction of Akuwa River (Kashio-cho, Totsuka-ku) to Morai Bridge (near Maruyamadai 1-chome).
In the middle stream, the river line of about 1.5 km from Nekobashi near Hannyaji Temple (near Shimonagaya 6-chome) to the upstream is maintained, and upstream from Yanagibashi near Nagano Elementary School (near Kaminagaya 4-chome) along Loop Route 2 I am.
We transferred river management authority from prefecture in April, 2011 and became Yokohama-shi management.

Relaxing space on the waterside
Waterside of Kaminagaya Fureai
A 10-minute walk from Kaminagaya Station on the municipal subway.
Along with the renovation plan, a part of the old riverbed, about 350 meters from Temma Miyashita to Yanagibashi, has been maintained as a babbling promenade park.
Although it is interrupted by the road, it is unlikely that it is near Route 2, which has a lot of traffic, and it is popular as a relaxing space.
Morai River murmuring green road
A 5-minute walk from Kaminagaya Station on the municipal subway.
Approximately 1.3 km upstream from Nagano Shimbashi near the subway depot is maintained as a murmuring green road.
On the way, there are places where you can go down to the banks of the river, and the width of the river is narrow and shallow, making it a good place for children to play.
Under the "Amaya Ohashi" on the Maioka Kamigo Line, there are arbors and benches, and you can eat lunch boxes in a quiet place unexpectedly.
