Private road maintenance subsidy

1. This is a private road that is used by the local community as a road for daily commuting, commuting, going to school, shopping, hospitals, meeting places, etc.
   In addition, it is applicable when road connecting to the private road is already paved.
2. On the private road where maintenance is desired, there is no underground buried object that interferes with pavement work, and the upper slope (so-called cliff) in contact with the private road is protected so that it does not interfere with pavement work.
   In addition, we assume that appropriate sewer pipe is maintained in sewer treatment area.
3. Maintenance is carried out by private road maintenance subsidy and maintenance system, and approximately 10 years have passed, and private roads that need redevelopment are also eligible.

A private road that is used by a large number of citizens and has the same function as a public road, and falls under any of the following.

1. Those with a radius of 500 meters or more from the railway station building, ward office, district center, sports center, library, etc. and have a width of 2.7 meters or more.
2. Newly designated school roads due to the establishment of elementary and junior high schools (relocation)
3. A private road whose conditions are being improved on a private road during the transfer of public roads. Please consult with Public Works Office separately for private roads during the transfer of public roads.
