The long-term care insurance system is operated with insurance premiums and public funds paid by the insured.
As a result, various businesses become providers of nursing care services, and those who are identified as needing support and nursing care can select the necessary services according to their own wishes.

65 years old or olderBased on the amount of insurance premium (base amount) determined by Yokohama City, insurance premium is charged according to income of the previous year.
Insurance premiums are deducted from pension for those who receive a public pension with an annual amount of 180,000 yen or more, and the rest will be paid by payment slip or fund transfer.

40 to under 65 years oldThe premium amount is determined for each medical insurance you have.
The insurance premium must be paid together with the medical insurance premium.

Out-of-pocket expenses

10% of the cost will be paid by the co-payment.
When using facilities, etc., there is a user burden such as living expenses (staying expenses) and food expenses.
In addition, if the usage fee exceeds a certain amount, a large amount of nursing care service fee will be paid and the burden will be reduced.

Oh Self-pay subsidy for nursing care services (Yokohama City's own system)
