About application window of nursing care, support required authorization

In order to be in need of nursing care and to use The Long-term Care Insurance's services, it is necessary to apply for certification for nursing care and support.
In addition, once you have been certified as requiring nursing care or support, you will need to apply for renewal before the end of the certification deadline to continue using The Long-term Care Insurance services. Renewal applications can be made 60 days prior to the end of the certification period.

※In the case of applying at the Local Elderly Care Management Center or agency application, the date on which the application was submitted to the ward office will be the application acceptance date.
The certification period when you are certified as requiring long-term care is the start date of application.
