Detailed inspection
Last Updated December 28, 2018
If it is difficult to judge only by livestock testing according to the inspection of the naked eye, etc., a detailed examination (microbial test, pathological examination, physicochemical test) will be performed to make a comprehensive judgment.
Microbial testing
If a bacterial disease is suspected by a slaughter test, bacteria separation and identification are performed for diagnosis.
In addition, we perform bacterial tests of poultry meat processed at poultry processing plant in the city and bacterial tests of cattle and pork distributed in the city.
Pathological examination
In slaughter tests, diseases that are difficult to diagnose with the naked eye are tested using a microscope. If a systemic disease is suspected, such as leukemia, systemic tumors, or antioxidant in pigs, a pathological examination is conducted to prevent the market from being distributed to the market as meat.
In addition, we provide feedback to producers with information on such diseases and test results.
Scientific inspection
Based on the Slaughterhouse Law, if jaundice, urinary toxicity, water tumors, poisoning, etc. are suspected, a detailed examination is performed, and the results are combined with the naked eye examination.
In addition, based on the Food Sanitation Law, we inspect the presence of meat, antibiotics in poultry meat, and animal medicines.
