Detailed inspection
Last Updated December 28, 2018
If it is difficult to judge only by animal testing according to the naked eye, etc., a detailed examination (microbial test, pathological test, physicochemical test) is performed to make a comprehensive judgment.
Microbial testing
If a slaughter test suspects a bacterial disease, it is separated and identified for diagnosis.
In addition, we conduct bacterial tests for poultry processed at poultry treatment plants in the city and bacterial tests for cattle and pork distributed in the city.
Pathological examination
Diseases that are difficult to diagnose with the naked eye in animal testing are inspected using a microscope or the like. If systemic diseases such as leukemia, systemic tumors, or antioxidants in pigs are suspected, pathological tissue tests are conducted to prevent them from being distributed to the market as meat.
In addition, we provide feedback to producers about information on such diseases and test results.
Physical and chemical testing
Based on the Slaughterhouse Law, jaundice, urinary toxicity, edema, poisoning, etc. are suspected, a detailed examination is performed, and the results are comprehensively diagnosed with the naked eye test.
In addition, based on the Food Sanitation Law, we conduct tests for the presence or absence of antibiotics and animal medicines in meat, poultry meat, etc.
