○Hygiene monitoring and guidance
Based on the Slaughterhouse Law, we monitor and provide guidance to ensure that standards such as hygiene management and facilities in slaughterhouses are observed.
In addition, based on the Food Sanitation Law, we conduct on-site inspections, monitor and provide guidance on slaughter facilities in the meat market, as well as wiping inspections.

○Hygiene education
We hold hygiene seminars for workers in the meat market (slaughterers, by-product handlers, etc.) in the meat market, and provide hygiene education on food poisoning prevention and sanitary handling of meat.

Oh About hygiene management based on HACCP
According to the "Act on Partial Revision of the Food Sanitation Law, etc." enacted on June 1, 2020, hygiene management based on HACCP has become mandatory for slaughterhouses. The Meat Sanitation Laboratory, as an external verification organization, conducts sanitary management of facilities at slaughterhouses, checks on-site work status, inspects HACCP-related record documents, and conducts microbial inspections of carcass. In addition, we hold seminars on HACCP seminars for people involved in the plant.
