If a person who has been transferred to Address due to admission or hospitalization at a facility is uniformly insured by the municipalities where the facility is located, the insured will be concentrated in municipalities where many facilities subject to special provisions in the Address area are constructed, resulting in an increase in benefits.
The special system in Address was established to correct such financial imbalances.
Those who fall under the Address area special system will not be insured by the municipal office where they originally lived.
(However, if you enter a special facility in the Address area in Yokohama city from a general house in Yokohama city, it does not fall under the Address area exception.)
