We invited opinions regarding the draft plan for the 8th term plan.
Thank you very much for your valuable comments. Opinions received will be used as a reference when drafting the draft, and will be used as a reference for future business and initiatives.

The Elderly Health and Welfare Plan and The Long-term Care Insurance Business Plan is formulated every three years as a comprehensive plan for the smooth implementation of the long-term care insurance system and health and welfare services for the elderly.
Since the planning period of the Seventh Elderly Health and Welfare Plan and The Long-term Care Insurance Business Plan will end in fiscal 2020, we will formulate the 8th Elderly Health and Welfare Plan for the Elderly and The Long-term Care Insurance Business Plan.
In addition, in response to the national dementia measure promotion guidelines, we decided to newly formulate the "Dementia Measures Promotion Plan" integrally with the 8th Yokohama City Elderly Health and Welfare Plan and The Long-term Care Insurance Business Plan.
Based on this Eighth Plan, we will promote welfare measures for the elderly in anticipation of 2025, when all baby boomers will be 75 years old or older, and in 2040 when the baby boomer junior generation will be 65 years or older.
On development of the eighth plan, we carry out public comment based on draft to hear opinion, suggestion from citizen widely.

Opinion solicitation period

From Friday, October 30, 2020 to Friday, December 4, 2020

How to submit opinions

Opinions and impressions of everyone on the plan draft will be recruited in one of the following ways.

  1. Postal: Please use the postcard attached to the draft booklet.  ※We distribute booklet of draft to citizen information center (city hall the third floor), each ward office, community care plaza, welfare center for the elderly, district center, etc.

  4. Mobile phones, smartphones, personal computers: Please use the electronic application form (external site).

Regarding the handling of opinions and personal information received

  • Opinions received will be used as a reference for future plan formulation and measures for the elderly.
  • We will not respond individually to your comments, but we will report what we have compiled at a later date to the The Long-term Care Insurance Management Council.
  • Documents of the council are announced and can be viewed on the Yokohama City homepage and the Citizen Information Center (City Hall 3F).
  • Personal information obtained with the submission of opinions will be properly managed in accordance with the provisions of the "Yokohama City Personal Information Protection Ordinance" and will be used only for work related to the "8th Yokohama City Elderly Health and Welfare Plan, The Long-term Care Insurance Business Plan, Dementia Measures Promotion Plan.

About inhabitant of a ward briefing session

We were planning to hold a briefing session on the contents of the plan on a ward basis in order to receive opinions from citizens widely, but while the convergence of the new coronavirus infection is not visible, the citizens who participate As a result of giving top priority to the safety of the event, we decided that the event was difficult and decided to cancel it.
