Community Activities Center for People with Disabilities

For social participation of mid-career disabilities at home due to sequelae such as cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral infarction, subarachnoid hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, cerebral traumatic hemorrhage, cerebral traumatic hemorrhage, cerebral trauma, etc. We provide the following programs and consultation support.
In addition, one halfway person with a disability activity center is set up in each ward.

• Date: Approximately once a week, about 2 hours
• Target: Those who have just been discharged, are detained, or those who are at risk (approximately 40 to 64 years old)
• Program example: Health lectures on prevention of illness recurrence, out-of-home training using trains and buses, rehabilitation and sports, language rehabilitation, exchange with friends
• Amount of use: None (approximate cost)

• Date: Monthly to Friday Approx. 10:00-15:30
• Target: Those who need a place for regular outings and social participation (approximately 40 to 64 years old)
• Program example: Life training such as computer courses and cooking training, health management to prevent disease recurrence, rehabilitation and sports, sales of creative activities and independent products, interaction with friends, interaction with local communities
• Amount of use: About 1,000 yen to 2000 yen

• Date: In principle, about once a month (reservation required)
• Target: Persons with higher brain dysfunction, their families, and those who are supported
• Main contents: About trouble about higher brain dysfunction and future life and activity, the staff of Yokohama-shi higher brain dysfunction support center will receive consultation together about trouble about higher brain dysfunction and future life and activity.

※Higher cerebral dysfunction is a disorder caused by brain damage, such as stroke or brain trauma. Symptoms such as reduced motivation, memory and attention, difficulty in working on things systematically, and poor emotions control appear.
