Announcement of the End of the Project
This project was started in 1985 and has been implemented for about 40 years.
In recent years, safety confirmation's equipment has been enhanced due to a decrease in landline telephone lines, the spread of mobile phones and an increase in the number of monitoring devices by private companies.
Based on this situation, we plan to close new applications for the elderly Anshin Denwa (emergency help call) at the end of FY2024 and end this project at the end of FY2025.
And from fiscal 2025
We will launch the safety confirmation Equipment Aid Project, which utilizes ICT equipment.
About new business, please talk with HP of city or ward office of neighborhood after April, 2025.
※This project is subject to suspension of the resolution of the Yokohama City Budget for FY2025 by Yokohama City Council.

The following are the business details up to the end of FY2024.
If an emergency occurs for elderly people living alone, we will lend an emergency call device (Anshin Denwa (emergency help call)) so that they can immediately contact nearby people.

An emergency may occur in elderly people living alone who are generally 65 years or older living in the city, and who are deemed to need an emergency communication network
※Even if you live together, you can apply if the cohabitant is absent for a long time and continuously due to employment, etc., or if you cannot make an emergency call due to severe care recipients. .
Service details
By registering the reporting destination Phone number in advance, users can notify their neighbors and Fire Bureau if they press the Anshin Denwa (emergency help call) emergency call button.

Please register nearby co-workers who regularly monitor users. As soon as there is an emergency call from the user, please rush in and request an ambulance if necessary. If there is no cooperator nearby, please register the emergency reception center of the Yokohama City Consignment Company. The emergency reception center is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
※The emergency reception center cannot rush directly.

I will go to necessary/required procedures if the user has to be hospitalized. Please register close friends such as family and acquaintances. If it is difficult to secure it, it can be omitted.

Costs
The cost of using Anshin Denwa (emergency help call) will vary depending on the status of municipal tax imposed by the household to which the user belongs.
