What is the Comprehensive Support for Persons with Disabilities Act?

On April 1, 2013, a law (Comprehensive Support for Persons with Disabilities Act) to comprehensively support the daily and social life of persons with disabilities was enforced. This law is a revision of the Disability Independence Support Law in order to comprehensively support the daily and social life of persons with disabilities, such as the enhancement of disability welfare services, for the realization of symbiosis in the local community.
This law stipulates the target persons, contents, procedures, etc., local life support projects, the creation of disability welfare plans for the maintenance of services, and the burden of expenses, etc.
