Discounts on railway fares (physical and intellectual)
When using JR East, Private Railways, Municipal Subways and Kanazawa Seaside Line, fare discounts are available for the person and his / her caregiver.
※The discount fare will be applied to caregivers only if they are traveling on the same section with the disabled person eligible for the discount for the disabled.
Discount fares do not apply if the caregiver rides alone (including pick-up, etc.).

※If the child with a disability riding with the caregiver in the first class is an infant (under 6 years old), the child with a disability is free and the caregiver is discounted.
※There is no discount for children's regular tickets.
[How to use]
<In case of ticket>
(1) Present your notebook (page that shows Type 1 or Type 2) at the ticket sales counter and purchase the ticket. However, if both the person and the caregiver are adults, for the section up to 100 km of * business km, purchase a child fare ticket with an automatic ticket vending machine and present the ticket and notebook purchased to the ticket clerk together. It is also possible to use. Automatic ticket gates cannot be used.
(2) If you and your caregiver use it, purchase a ticket for the same section.
<In the case of IC cards such as Suica>
If you get on an IC card after meeting the conditions for applying the disability discount, the IC fare in units of 1 yen will be applied. Please enter with an IC card and present your notebook at the ticket gate window of the participating station.
※When using the train, be sure to carry your notebook and present it when asked by the staff.
※Please note that if you use an automatic ticket gate at participating stations, the fare will be undiscounted.
※Both the person and the caregiver must use their respective IC cards.

Based on JR East fare discounts. However, there is no discount on ordinary tickets in the JR East [Discount Details] table, "If the person rides alone on a section exceeding 100 km one way"
[How to use]
Present your notebook (page that shows the first or second kind) at the station ticket gate window and purchase a ticket. In addition, depending on the usage method of JR East, handling differs slightly depending on the company.

[How to use]
At manned stations (Shinsugida Station, Namiki-Chuo Station, Kanazawa Hakkei Station), please contact the information desk. At unmanned stations (stations other than the above), press the call button (red) of the intercom next to the automatic ticket vending machine, and then place the notebook etc. upward in the yellow part below. After the station staff checks the notebook, etc., when the "Discount" button flashes, press the button first and press the desired ticket type / fare button. It will take some time for the button to turn on.
