Placement of sign language interpreters and tablet terminals at the ward office
When a hearing-impaired person who needs a sign language interpreter visits the ward office for urgent business, etc., interpreters are assigned to some ward offices to ensure communication in sign language. In addition, all ward offices provide services using sign language interpreters and voice recognition applications using tablet terminals.

[How to use] Please inform us of your request at each window.
①Sign language interpreter
Every Friday from 8:45 to 12:00 Naka Ward
Every Thursday, Totsuka Ward from 13:30 to 17:00
②Tablet terminal
All 18 ward offices Weekdays from 9:00 to 17:00 / 2nd and 4th Saturday from 9:00 to 12:00
※If you are coming to the agency for a long time interview or consultation that requires a reservation, please use the "Sign Language Interpreter Dispatch Business".
※For sign language interpreter services using tablet terminals, communication may not be possible depending on radio wave conditions.
