We made a joint declaration with ports around the world regarding measures against COVID-19 infection <FY2020>
Yokohama Port, together with 20 major ports around the world, has made a joint declaration to maintain port functions and support the continuation of international maritime trade in response to the global spread of COVID-19.

About Joint Declaration
Overview
The Joint Declaration was signed by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore to participating ports in the Port Authority's Roundtable, and was signed by major port authorities around the world who agreed with the content.
Under this joint declaration, each signing port will work together on the following three points (summary).
①We will maintain an environment where ships can berth for cargo handling and continue global supply chains and trade and cargo movements.
②Promote close cooperation so that ports and maritime authorities with the same aspirations can share experiences and information and respond to difficulties.
③We will continue to apply optimal cases according to the stage, such as preventive measures, in line with the spread of coronavirus infection.

About Port Authority's Roundtable
The Port Authority's Roundtable was launched in 2015 with the aim of creating a network among major port authorities around the world and sharing best practices. Up to now, five meetings have been held at ports around the world, and Yokohama Port has also participated as member ports.
