The roof of Akarengasoko is tiled, and a total of about 140,000 tiles are used in both the No. 1 and No. 2 warehouses. The tiles used in Akarengasoko are smaller than normal size. Currently, the mainstream version is 53 edition, which requires 53 sheets per tsubo, but those used in Akarengasoko are 64 versions (280 mm long, 275 mm wide) and 64 sheets per tsubo. The tiles at the beginning of the foundation are engraved with "Sanshu Kikusen Consignment, Yokohama Port Shiyasui Seiseki", indicating that the production area is Sanshu (Mikawa).
