　In this month's “Director General People and Town Exploration (outside site)”, we visited “Yu-Yu Baton”, which plans and manages events that support parents who are having trouble choosing a kindergarten.

　"Yu-Yu Baton" is a group in which parents and senior dads and moms of children who go to kindergartens in the city are volunteering. In response to a question about the kindergarten, "100 choices if there are 100 private kindergarten choices!", We held an online event three times in June and July to convey raw information.

　On the day I heard, it was a reflection meeting of all three events. Everyone who was in the middle of raising children, such as those holding their babies and those putting their children on their knees, were actively exchanging opinions. Looking back, positive opinions such as "I want to do this at autumn events" and "Let's do this next year" were coming out. On the other hand, there seemed to be a concern that "If the content of the event is varied, it will be difficult to balance child care, and you will not be able to continue your activities." "Yu-Yu Baton" always delivers the voices of parents in the children by connecting the batons to the next generation. That's why he was told that he would aim to be an organization that could easily participate in while raising children.

　The reason why members who are busy raising children continue to work is because they want to help those who are worried about choosing a garden and want them to be happy to hear. I'm thinking about the content of the event from the perspective of "If you hear such a story, you may be able to solve your worries a little."

　I felt great potential for an organization with this style, which has reduced the burden on participating and successfully linked generational changes. Perhaps it will be a hint that even people who are busy with work or childcare to start activities in a familiar area. I hope that everyone who wants to start something will start their activities at their own pace, and I hope that Kanagawa Ward will have more organizations that can continue. I would like everyone at "Yu-Yu-Yu Baton" to continue their activities without difficulty and continue to support families who are worried about choosing a kindergarten.
