About social movement insurance (volunteer insurance)
"I was injured in an empty can that had been crushed to recover resources in Neighborhood Associations."
Do you know "civic activity insurance" for such a case?
- The insurance is paid for accidents during volunteer activities.
- The insurance premium is borne by Yokohama City, so there is no need to join or register in advance.
Eligible volunteer activities
This activity meets the following four requirements.
- Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations and other organizations
- Non-payment (excluding actual expenses such as transportation expenses)
- Activities carried out continuously and planned activities
- Activities with Public Interest
If an accident occurs
In the unlikely event of an accident, please contact the ward office General Affairs Division of your ward as soon as possible and complete the procedure. We will review the details of accidents and activities, and if you meet the insurance requirements, you will be paid insurance.
(Note) If you do not contact us within 30 days from the date of the accident, you may not be able to pay insurance claims.
