Overview of Subsidiary System

Type of subsidy

■Start-up course
Courses for projects that have not passed three years from April 1 belonging to the start year, such as subsidized projects
■Step-up course
Courses for projects that have passed three years from April 1 belonging to the start year, such as subsidized projects
■Children's Place Course
Courses aimed at businesses aimed at fostering the independence and sociality of children through exchanges and experiences

Subsidiary companies

Groups targeted for assistance are groups that meet all of the following conditions.

  1. An organization that operates in Izumi Ward is composed of at least five members, and has rules, rules and regulations concerning the operation of the organization.
  2. Be willing to take the initiative in solving problems and creating local attractions.
  3. In the case of a corporation, only a non-profit organization, a public interest incorporated foundation, or a public interest incorporated foundation, and the municipal tax (special collection and ordinary collection) must not be delinquent.
  4. Do not engage in political or religious activities.
  5. Not a gangster and the representative of the organization (in the case of a corporation, a representative or officer) is not a gangster.

Children's Whereabouts Course must meet one of the following conditions:

  1. Being group that person commissioned by city is included in member.
  2. An organization in which Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association of Izumi Ward is a member.

Subsidized projects

Business targeted for assistance is business meeting all the next requirements.

  • Public and public interest
  • Businesses that lead to solving local issues and improving attractiveness or businesses that contribute to the sound development of children
  • Projects that subsidized businesses plan and implement voluntarily and independently
  • Projects to be implemented during the year in which subsidies were issued
  • In the case of collecting participation fees, a business that has a clear basis for estimation and is equivalent to an appropriate actual cost.

The following requirements must also be met in the Children's Whereabouts Course.

  • Projects mainly for elementary and junior high school students living in Izumi Ward
  • Business conducted continuously at least six times a year
  • Projects mainly for preschool children and parents, which are not aimed at making friends, exchanging information, and supporting childcare.

Subsidized amount

■Start-up course                                                     
1st year: Up to 250,000 yen (within 8/10 of subsidized expenses)                                                                            2nd year: Up to 250,000 yen (within 6/10 of subsidized expenses)                                                                      3rd year: Up to 250,000 yen (within 5/10 of subsidized expenses)
■Step-up course                                                              
1st time: Up to 200,000 yen (within 5/10 of subsidized expenses)                                                                      Second time: Up to 150,000 yen (within 5/10 of subsidized expenses)                                                                       3rd time: Up to 100,000 yen (within 5/10 of subsidized expenses)
■Children's Place Course
1-3rd time: Up to 100,000 yen (within 9/10 of subsidized expenses)
※In calculating the subsidy amount, fractions of the sum less than 1,000 yen shall be rounded down.

Number of assistance

Up to one business per year per group, up to three start-up courses, step-up courses, and children's place courses within five years.                                                             ※In principle, the subsidy period is a single year. If you continue to carry out the same business in the next fiscal year, you need to apply every year, and there will be a screening each time.

If you are applying, please read the application guidelines carefully before applying.                                 Application guidelines will be distributed at the Izumi Ward Office, community care plazas in Izumi Ward, and district centers.

How to apply

When applying for a subsidy, we will check the requirements and business plans of the group, so please consult with Izumi Ward Office Planning and Adjustment Section in advance before submitting the documents.

  2. Business plan (second style) (word: 26KB)                                                                         ※If it does not fit in the frame of the form, please provide details on the attached sheet (free format).
  3. Business income and expenditure budget book (third style) (word: 25KB)
  4. Business income and expenditure budget book (3 years) (2 of the third style) (word: 32KB)                                                         ※In the case of a single-year business or a children's place course, it can be omitted.
  5. Outline of groups (No. 4 style) (word: 24KB)
  6. List of Members of Organizations
  7. Rules and Regulations of Organizations and other similar documents
  8. In the case of a corporation, a municipal inhabitant tax tax payment certificate or tax exemption certificate

※Based on the Yokohama City Gangster Exclusion Ordinance Article 8, we may request additional document submission to confirm that you are not a gangster.

Primary recruitment: From Friday, March 1, 2024 to Friday, March 29, 2024 (reservation required)
Secondary recruitment: From Thursday, August 1, 2024 to Friday, August 30, 2024 (reservation required)

Changes in Business Plans

If there is a change or abolition of the application after receiving the subsidy grant decision, please submit a (change / abolition) approval application immediately.

Copy of documents proving expenditure such as receipts                                                               ※Submission of receipts, etc. pertaining to one case with an amount of less than 100,000 yen can be omitted.                                             ※However, please keep the relevant documents for 5 years from the year following the grant, as described in Article 23 of the Izumi Ward Regional Problem Solving Support Project Subsidy Grant Guidelines.

Grant of subsidies

After receiving the subsidy confirmation letter, please submit a subsidy invoice. A subsidy will be issued within 30 days from the date of receiving the appropriate invoice.
