About utilization of unused public interest land (municipal land)

Of the small-scale land owned by Yokohama City in Izumi Ward (approximately less than 500 square meters) owned by Yokohama City, the land for which the purpose of use has not been determined can be widely used as a place for local community development and citizens to interact.
The details of how to use it is as follows.

Eligible users | In principle, local organizations such as Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations in the area surrounding the land and Residential Association in the development area where the land was provided. If there is no use of a local group, it can be used for public activities by public organizations such as social welfare corporations and civil society organizations such as NPOs. |
Usage fee | In principle, paid (depending on the purpose of use) |
Period of use | For land use without buildings, the period of use is one year. However, if the start date of use is in the middle of the fiscal year, from the start date of use until the end of March of the relevant year The period of use in the case of land use involving the construction of a building depends on the purpose of use. If there is an application for continuous use at least two months before the expiration of the usage period and there is no obstacle to continuing, the usage period can be renewed by one year. |
