Dachs who check the schedule of the "Izumi River Walking Tour" at a planning meeting
A member of a dachuse who works on various projects to attract men of the same age who tend to stay at home. In order to create a place where men can easily participate, the planning will be promoted in a relaxed atmosphere throughout the day while sharing their experiences and concerns about regional debut.
Captain Ochiai participated in local gymnastics classes and circles after Retirement at the age of 69, but many women seemed confused.
"Women have a neighborhood relationship, but I think many men have no contact with the community until they retire. When I was working, it was a round trip between my workplace and my house, so it's difficult to make a debut in the local area," says Ochiai.
"Men people need to talk for the first time! Rather than talking to them for the first time!"
We work out a plan that makes you want to participate in meetings held every month, and conduct tours of beer factories and walks. He seems to aim to create a place where people can participate without difficulty and create conversations naturally.
Captain Ochiai greets before leaving the walking departure nearly 20 senior men participated on this day.
Carefully stretch. Conversation was born naturally, such as "I'm getting harder" or "I may exercise for the first time in a long time."
Participants walking along the Izumi River have gone to preview with the main members in advance and confirmed the walking route and pace distribution.
Mizutani, who is familiar with the history of Izumi Ward (left back): "I like examining and walking, so I enjoy myself."
I started walking for an hour after I started walking, and it was an easy-to-understand atmosphere.

"Through the activities of Dachs, retired senior men can also make friends in the community, and by participating in other circles, which may lead to local activities. I myself have more chatting with my neighbors, and I have become familiar with the local people," said Ochiai.
Mr. Kato, a life support coordinator at Izumichuo Community Care Plaza, who serves as the secretariat, said, `` In order to continue living in their own area, we will develop activities run by the residents themselves, such as dachshu activities, so that they can continue living in their own area. I would be glad if we can create a place for people to connect with each other, and create opportunities for preventive care by creating opportunities for senior men. I hope such an approach will spread to other districts, "he said with expectation.
Ducks is planning to hold men's handmade luncheons, walking tours in Izumi Ward, and dementia supporter training courses.
