NO.21 "The 33rd Sogaya International Festa" was held

On November 20 (Sun), the 33rd Sogaya International Festa was held in person for the first time in three years. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, we organized a project on Uzbekistan.
Every year at the "Sogaya International Festa", residents of the city, including foreigners, enjoy international exchange. On the day of the event, "Japanese Speech" by foreigners learning Japanese at the Gagaya International Exchange Lounge, and "Music and Dance of the World" by the Uzbekistan Dance Group were held.
In the Japanese speech, various thoughts were expressed, such as the reasons for coming to Japan, dreams that they would like to fulfill in Japan, and their preferences on Japanese hot springs and sushi. I was impressed by the fact that I was leaving my home country and learning Japanese while working towards my dreams.

In addition, on the day of the event, workshops such as the `` Narikiri Photo Studio '' where you can experience kimono dressing, `` Let's make a shimenawa '' to make New Year decorations, as well as exhibitions and sales of Uzbekistan folk crafts were also held, and it was a great success. .
