About Minato Mirai 21 district 56-2 block which carried out development company open call for participants from July, 2014, we decided business planner.

●Soil Contamination Survey

Revision was made in June 2014 for substances that set acceptance criteria in the construction soil acceptance procedure in Port and Harbor Bureau, Motoichi, and "1,4-dioxane" was added. The soil contamination survey was conducted before the revision, so we did not investigate the substance.


In this open call for participants, three divisions (55-1, 56-1, 56-1, and 56-2) along the Minato Mirai Odori ranging from about 3,600 square meters to about 7,000 square meters.
In the last fiscal year's open call for participants for 55 and 56 blocks, there were proposals in the 55-2 block, and the prospective business was decided.

●Soil Contamination Survey

As a result of the soil pollution survey, substances (fluorine and its compounds) exceeding the specified standard value of the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Law were detected in a part of the 56-2 block. For sections that exceeded the designated standard value, we have been designated as a notification area required at the time of trait change prescribed in Article 11, Paragraph 1 of the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act (announced on March 15, 2013).

This time, after deducting the cost equivalent to removing the soil in the designated area from the land price, etc., we will carry out open call for participants on the condition that the developer removes contaminated soil.


●Application procedure

Applicants will make a business proposal after completing the registration procedure.

On this open call for participants, Yokohama Minato Mirai 21 will perform open call for participants office work (registration and proposal recruitment).

Yokohama City will make decisions on business planners.

●Contract method

・As a general rule, we conclude reservation contract with Yokohama-shi within six months from the next day of decision of business plan person. After that, we will conclude a basic plan agreement and a land sales contract within one year from the day after the business planner decision.

・City Counsil's decision will be made to form a decision by City Counsil, so the Company will conclude a provisional contract without making a reservation contract.
