The “Yokohama Water Supply Long-Term Vision” is to share with customers and everyone involved in the business with a view to 20 to 30 years from now in order for the city to manage sustainable water supply and industrial water supply businesses in the future. It shows the future image that should be done and the direction of efforts to achieve it.
In the future, based on this vision, we will formulate a specific implementation plan, the “Mid-Term Management Plan,” a budget and management policy for each fiscal year, and operate the business.
In addition, this vision is positioned in the “Water Supply Business Vision,” which the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare recommends to water utilities to realize the contents of the “New Water Supply Vision,” which presents the ideal image of water supply in the future, matters to be addressed, and measures. The long-term vision was approved and finalized at the first regular meeting of Yokohama City Council in 2016.
