Water supply business of Motoichi performs business management based on "Yokohama water supply long-term vision, ten-year plan" which we devised in July, 2006 and medium-term management plan (2012-27) which is the implementation plan I am.
In the ninth year since the formulation of the current vision, the environment surrounding the water supply business has changed drastically, including the advent of a declining population society and the experience of the Great East Japan Earthquake. In the country, the "New Water Supply Vision" was formulated in March last year, and the city has begun examining a new vision with a view to 20 to 30 years from this year.
In proceeding with the examination, we will hold a "round-table conference to consider the future of the Yokohama City Water Supply Business" in order to have the voices of experts and customers regarding the future image widely.
In addition to City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau's expert advisor who provides advice based on expert knowledge in each field, members are those who can provide opinions from the standpoint of water users.
