In response to the Great East Japan Earthquake, in addition to the affected areas support and disaster prevention measures that Yokohama City has provided, the “Yokohama City Living and Economy” Earthquake Disaster Response Headquarters was established on April 8, 2011.
However, since civil life and economic conditions are improving due to the effects of the earthquake, the Yokohama City Living and Economy Earthquake Disaster Response Headquarters was abolished on March 27, 2024 in conjunction with the abolition of the disaster headquarters.
The economic situation is still uncertain, so we will establish a new “Economic Measures Headquarters” as a whole agency and continue to work on promoting SME loans and overseas customer support.
