About investigation report about private lodging facilities in Yokohama-shi

The law "Housing Accommodation Business Law", which stipulates the provision of accommodation services utilizing houses (so-called private lodging services), will be enforced in June 2018.
In Yokohama City, while grasping the status of facilities that provide private lodging services via the Internet in the city, interviews with private lodging operators, private lodging brokerage site operators, and local residents of private lodging facilities, etc. In order to obtain basic materials for examining the city's response to the law, we conducted a "Survey on Yokohama Minpaku Facilities in Yokohama City".
I would like to inform you that the results have been finalized.

(1)Survey on private lodging facilities in the city
Survey target:　Yokohama Minpaku facility based on the results of a survey by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare
Survey method:　Use of information posted on the Internet
Survey items:　Property type, room type, minimum accommodation fee, number of people who can stay, minimum number of nights, etc.
Facility location (ward), facility location status, presence or absence of face-to-face check-in with guests, etc.
Whether the host (owner, caretaker) resides or not

(2)Interviews with related businesses
Survey method:　Interviews and questionnaire surveys
Survey target:　Minpaku operator, Minpaku brokerage site operator, residents around Minpaku facility
Survey items:　Approach to Minpaku, etc.
