Yokohama City, together with the local government related to Atsugi base, requested the national and U.S. military to "flight training on the U.S. aircraft carrier Kitty Hawk-based aircraft around Atsugi Base." (Oral request)

The country made the following announcement.
"The 2nd Facility Coordination Subcommittee on the Reorganization of U.S. Forces in Japan in Kanagawa Prefecture was held and was in discussions.
・Among the U.S. military facilities in the city, there was a reference to the return of Negishi residential area, Tomioka warehouse district, Fukaya communication station, and Kamiseya communication facility (part)
・Japan and the United States agreed that it would be appropriate to develop about 800 houses and their support facilities in the Ikego residential area and the Yokohama city area of naval auxiliary facilities."

Yokohama City, together with local governments related to Atsugi base, requested the U.S. Army for the following four points regarding "Recent aircraft noise around Atsugi Base." (Oral request)
・Avoid flying on densely populated ground air or at night for models with high noise
・Consider the feelings of damage to residents, such as avoiding low altitude flights and keeping flight intervals.
・Avoid fly passes and touch-and-go before landing as much as possible
・Immediately provide local residents with information on how long and what scale flight training will last.
