- The Director of the Ministry of Defense, South Kanto Defense Bureau met with Mayor Hayashi and explained the matters agreed by the Japan-US Joint Committee, and in response to it, announced the mayor's comment (press release) (PDF: 172KB).

- As a member of the Atsugi Base Noise Countermeasures Council, Yokohama City has made a request to the government and the U.S. regarding the elimination of aircraft noise through continuous night take-off and landing training of U.S. aircraft carrier-based aircraft at Atsugi Base”. (PDF:144KB)

- In connection with U.S. military training at Kitafuji Exercise Area (PDF: 20KB) at Kitafuji Exercise Area from October 25 to November 5, 2018, ammunition will not be carried in at Mizuho Wharf / Yokohama North Dock, We requested the government to take a thorough system so that accidents do not occur, and that it will not lead to enhancement of the functions of the facilities. - Today, five CV-22 Ospreys from the Ministry of Defense are scheduled to arrive at Yokohama North Dock by ship today (PDF: 132KB), and will fly from Yokohama North Dock to Yokota Airfield later this week. There was a notification. In response to this, Yokohama City has made a request today (PDF: 45KB).
