Sea and Industrial Innovation Convention

 This convention is an event specializing in the marine industry, which consists of symposiums, booths and exhibitions by companies, etc. In order to share and integrate the latest technologies and information, and to promote and revitalize the marine industry, it is a valuable opportunity for the three National Research and Development Agency representing Japan in the marine sector to come together.
 This year's "Umikon Convention" will be held at Yokohama City Hall Atrium on Friday, December 13, 2024. For more information, please refer to the following website.

Seminar on the Sea in Ocean Hub Yokohama

 Held for high school students, university students, and graduate students, with the aim of deepening their knowledge of work in the marine field and expanding their options through business introduction by companies and organizations that are active in various fields related to the sea.
 This year, it will be held as a program in "YOXO FESTIVAL 2025" on Sunday, January 26, 2025. 
◆Seminar event
 Part 1: From 11:00 to 13:00 Part 2: 15:00~17:00 
 Date and time: Sunday, January 26, 2025
 Location: Landmark Plaza Shopping Center 7th floor NANA Lv. INNOVATION STUDIO
 Target: High school students, university students, graduate students and parents (capacity: 40 students in each department)

 Japan Marine United, Goyo Construction, Nippon Yusen Group,

Umi Cafe in Ocean Hub Yokohama

 Conduct to raise awareness of Ocean Hub Yokohama and to deepen citizens' understanding of the sea.
This is a marine course for citizens and students.
 Participants can easily talk with researchers with coffee in one hand about the contents of ocean research.
Currently, it is planned to be held jointly with the "Sea and Industrial Innovation Convention".
 National Research and Development Agency Marine-Earth Science and Technology Agency (JAMSTEC), National Research and Development Agency Fisheries Research and Education Organization, National Research and Development Agency Marine-Port and Aeronautics Research Institute (MSTEC), and National Research and Development Agency Marine-Port and Aviation Technology Research Institute (Port and Airport Technology Research Institute). Please feel free to join us.

 Theme: "Social implementation" of research results
 Date and time: Friday, December 13, 2024 15: 55-16: 55 (reception starts at 14:00)

Student Marine Business Idea Contest

 Together with Kobe City and Shizuoka City, which are promoting initiatives to promote the marine industry, etc., ideas for initiatives that are expected to solve the issues facing the sea and lead to business development on the sea stage. This is a contest for recruiting and awarding students.
