About each approach
Ocean Hub Yokohama Umi Expo
This is an hands-on event that conveys the diverse charms of the sea, such as ships, creatures, the environment, and work, to children who will lead the future.
Every year, in addition to exhibition booths by companies and organizations active in the field of the sea, we also hold workshops, stage programs, and display ships and actual equipment.
We will also announce the holding of this event on this site, so if you are interested, please check it out.

Learning activities utilizing the sea
It is business that we plan understanding and interest about the sea of children and carry out in cooperation with Yokosuka City for the purpose of having you get close to marine field.
In cooperation with Yokosuka City, Marine Association of Yokohama members and companies and organizations in Yokosuka City provide on-site classes, facility tours, work experience, and online programs to elementary and junior high schools in Yokohama City and Yokosuka City.

Metropolitan Area Regional Planning Project for the creation of marine culture urban areas
This project promotes collaboration between Yokohama, which faces the Pacific Ocean in the southern part of the Tokyo metropolitan area, an area with a history and culture that has long prospered with the ocean, and the Izu Peninsula, which forms Sagami Bay, and the Boso Peninsula coastal area connected by the Tokyo Bay Aqua Line, and promotes unique cooperation in nature, industry, tourism, culture, arts, sports and leisure.
