[Press Release] It's the first time! Digitalization of fire brigade's reporting operations

　In Yokohama, there are 20 fire brigades (one in each administrative district*3 only in Naka Ward), and about 8,000 fire brigade members are involved in local fire and disaster prevention activities. The various reporting tasks involved in these activities were a heavy burden on fire brigade employees, such as by group leaders, filling out the form specified for each project and bringing it to the fire department every month to report it.
　Therefore, in order to reduce the burden on fire brigade staff, in order to digitize the main office work reported on paper, we conducted demonstration experiments with private businesses in FY2021 through the co-creation front and worked to resolve issues.
　Based on the results of the demonstration experiment, the company will decide by bidding and use the smartphone app provided by the operator (scheduled to be released in December 2022) to digitize the report work of fire brigade for the first time in a government-designated city to reduce the burden on fire brigade employees and enhance their activities.
