[Press Release] It's the first time! Digitalization of fire brigade's reporting operations

　Yokohama has 20 fire brigade (one group in each administrative district * 3 in Naka Ward), and about 8,000 fire brigade employees are involved in local fire and disaster prevention activities. The various reporting tasks associated with these activities were a heavy burden on fire brigade employees, such as filling out the form specified for each project and bringing them to the fire department on a monthly basis.
　Therefore, in order to reduce the burden on fire brigade employees, we conducted a demonstration experiment with a private business operator in fiscal 2021 through the co-creation front to digitize the main tasks reported on paper.
　Based on the results of the demonstration experiment, we will use the smartphone app (scheduled to be released in December 2022) for the first time in a government-designated city to digitize the reporting work of fire brigade to reduce the burden on fire brigade employees and enhance their activities.
