As the Yokohama International Pool has been in service for 24 years and the facilities are aging, specific ceiling drop-off measures are scheduled in 2025.
In terms of operation, in an external audit in FY2021, there was an opinion on how to operate the facility.
Under these circumstances, this year Yokohama City formulated the “Yokohama City Financial Vision,” and in the future operation and renovation of public facilities, in view of the future population and financial scale as well as the needs of citizens, changes in lifestyles, There is a need for optimization based on social needs such as digitalization and decarbonization.
Based on these, in examining the direction of future utilization of the Yokohama International Pool, we will ask the opinions of companies, etc., and conduct a sounding survey to help organize conditions.
