Pit fire at the Hodogaya Plant (currently Hodogaya Transportation Office) (final report)

At 8:50 p.m. on March 20, 2021, the fire broke out at the Hodogaya Plant in City of Yokohama, Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau, which was suspended in April 2010 and operated as a relay facility for garbage. We apologize to the local residents for their concerns.

3. Damage
There were no reports of damage to surrounding buildings. The staff of the outsourcing contractor was injured during the inspection.
4 Causes
It is thought that the fire broke out from the garbage discharged from home. Since some garbage will ignite, please cooperate so that you can properly separate and discharge it.
