The Tanabata Lantern Festival will be held around Nagayamon Park, one of the most attractive spots in Seya Ward.
The daytime section “Sato Festival” will hold mock shops and concerts based on the concept of “a festival where even people with handicap can enjoy the feeling of a fair feeling with peace of mind”. In the evening part, the Lantern Festival, 930 handmade lanterns are lined up on a section of about 1,500 meters from Mitsukyo Station, creating a fantastic atmosphere of light and shadow.
Through the Tanabata Lantern Festival, a part of the income will be donated as reconstruction support.
