"Nishi Ward Candle Art" started in 2008 and is the 15th one-night candle event this year.
The motif candles of the Nishi Ward mascot character "Nishimaro-chan" and the character "Hikonyan" from Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture, which has exchanges with Nishi Ward, and message candles drawn by elementary school students gently illuminate the venue. Also, this year, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Nishi Ward system, the "Yokohama Fire Music Band" and the female choir "Ferris Frauencore" are a must-see.
