In Yokohama City, cultural properties of a wide range of eras, not only during the opening of the port, are located throughout the city area. Efforts have been made, but with changes in social conditions, issues such as the maintenance and management of cultural properties and the development of leaders have arisen.
Therefore, while organizing the current situation and issues related to the preservation and utilization of cultural properties in Yokohama City, the basic direction and initiatives of preservation and utilization are visualized, and various actors work together to unite the local community. In order to promote the preservation and utilization of cultural properties systematically and continuously, we have decided to formulate the "Yokohama City Cultural Property Preservation and Utilization Regional Plan" based on the Cultural Property Protection Law.
As we devised draft, we raise opinions to hear voice of citizen's all of you widely.
