This year's 27th Yokohama Children's International Peace Speech Contest was held from mid-June to early July, with approximately 40,000 elementary school studenｔ students from elementary schools, junior high schools and special needs schools in Yokohama.
Representatives selected in each ward qualifying round, etc. will participate in the speech contest (final).
In connection with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations in 2015, children will communicate their passion for international peace from various perspectives unique to elementary school studenｔ students, including a peaceful and fair society, reducing inequality, co-operation for goals, consume responsibly, and gender equality.
