The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) has been contributing to the promotion of social education for many years to promote social education activities in the community, and has been working hard on social education-related group activities for many years from a nationwide perspective to promote social education. We commend those who have contributed to social education for their achievements.
Nobue Fukushima, the former secretary-general of the Yokohama Social Education Corner (designated management facility), has been awarded as a "person who has contributed to social education in the community" in 2022.
