Yokohama City has signed a memorandum of understanding with Tokyo Electric Power Company Power Grid Co., Ltd. and Marine Power Grid Co., Ltd. regarding the future concept of the power network and the construction of a new green power supply base, which will be necessary for the formation of carbon neutral ports in Yokohama Port.
