We submitted a voluntary review of local governments to the United Nations to contribute to the global SDGs.

At the 10th Asian Smart City Conference held in October this year, Yokohama City announced the first VLR (Spontaneous Local Government Review), an international report on SDGs initiatives and progress made by local governments. The VLR has been accepted by the United Nations and has been published on its website.
As the SDGs Future City selected by the Japanese government, Yokohama City will continue to make every effort to make this VLR as a new starting point for further promotion of the SDGs.
