As the impact of COVID-19 is prolonged, the government's "Comprehensive Emergency Measures for Crude Oil Prices and Prices in the COVID-19 pandemic" (April 2022) has included the provision of "Special Benefits for Child-Rearing Household Living Support for Low-income Child-Rearing Households" as a support measure for the poor living facing price hikes. Based on this decision, we will start providing payment in Yokohama City from the end of June.
The payment of this benefit will be determined by a resolution at the 1st Extraordinary Meeting of City Counsil in 2022.
