The Basic Law on Suicide Countermeasures stipulates September 10 to September 16 as "Suicide Prevention Week".
Nine prefectures (* 1) have positioned suicide countermeasures during this week as “Suicide Countermeasure Enhancement Month” and are conducting comprehensive awareness raising.
In Yokohama City, in addition to lighting up in green, which is the prefecture's suicide countermeasure color, we will also carry out educational activities such as posting posters at Yokohama Station and distributing leaflets.
