In April 1998, Hodogaya Ward established the "Hanagaya Flower Charter" and is promoting activities to create a clean and beautiful city that loves flowers and greenery.
In addition, the Sogaya Hana Festa is widely known to residents of the "Garden Necklace Yokohama 2019" by installing temporary flower beds and standing containers to color the venue with flowers and greenery.
