Based on the agreement on the study of mental and physical health in April 2022, Aoba Ward and Toin Gakuen have conducted health research aimed at extending healthy life expectancy and reducing health disparities. As the results of the survey have been revealed, Aoba Ward will continue to study these results in preventive care and dementia measures, and will work to promote and deepen the comprehensive community care system. Specifically, the use of the Internet etc. may be one factor contributing to the reduction of the risk of dementia, and there is a high need to maintain mental and social well-being even in the elderly.
