Joint research study with Toin Gakuen

In fiscal 2022, Aoba Ward and Toin Gakuen signed an agreement on mental and physical health between Aoba Ward, Yokohama City and Toin Gakuen Educational Corporation.

Mental and Physical Health Survey

Received results from Toin Gakuen (press release on July 27, 2023).

Based on the "Agreement on Mental and Physical Health" in April 2022, Aoba Ward and Toin Gakuen have been conducting health research aimed at extending healthy life expectancy and reducing health disparities.
As the results of the survey have been revealed, Aoba Ward will continue to consider ways to make use of these results in measures to prevent long-term care and dementia.

We will conduct surveys and research with Toin Gakuen (Press Released on April 25, 2022).

On January 15, 2010, Aoba Ward, Yokohama City and Toin University of Yokohama signed a "Basic Agreement on Cooperation and Cooperation between Toin University of Yokohama and Aoba Ward, Yokohama City. "
Based on the purpose of this basic agreement, in order to promote further cooperation, Aoba Ward, Yokohama City and Toin Gakuen, a school corporation, "extension of healthy life expectancy and reduce health disparities" and "functions necessary for running social life With the aim of contributing to "maintenance and improvement", we will work on a joint research project on mental and physical health for Aoba residents of Aoba residents, and conclude an agreement as follows.

Location: Aoba public hall (31-4, Keocho, Aoba-ku)
Theme: "Thinking about the lifetime of happiness-100 Years of Life with Connections."
    ~ Aiming to be "Aoba Ward, a town where people can live with peace of mind even if they have dementia" ~
Speaker: President Toin Gakuen, Mayor Aoba, etc.
Contents: Survey results, lectures by dementia specialists, discussions, etc.
