Overview

Purpose

①Promotion of participation in PPP / PFI projects by city companies
②Formation of effective and attractive PPP/PFI projects in cooperation with various entities

Activities

▶Seminars for private businesses
We will hold events where you can interact directly with private businesses, such as fostering PPP / PFI momentum and disseminating information on new projects.
▶PPP / PFI study session for city businesses
We will hold a study session to learn practical know-how and skills related to PPP / PFI.
▶Formation of various forums for dialogue (PDF: 149KB)
We plan various dialogue venues according to the examination stage of each business.
▶Business matching
The Bank of Yokohama and Yokohama Shinkin Bank will support the formation of consortiums necessary for PPP/PFI projects.
We will deepen our network with businesses in different industries and regional financial institutions, increasing our potential for new business areas.
▶Yokohama City PPP Long List/Short List
For the purpose of providing private businesses with information from an early stage of the project and considering participation in the project, maintenance and maintenance of public facilities that may introduce PPP methods in the future We will list and publish projects related to operation and utilization of owned assets.

About support by PPP / PFI Regional Platform Agreement System

The Cabinet Office and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) support PPP / PFI regional platform initiatives to further promote the promotion of PPP / PFI led by local stakeholders, with local industry, government and academia gathering to acquire know-how in PPP / PFI projects and exchange information including public-private dialogue.
The Yokohama PPP Platform is the partner (fourth) (outside site) of the PPP / PFI Regional Platform Agreement System, and with the support of both ministries, we will further promote PPP.
