Let's make a camera obscura!
First of all,
On Wednesday, August 10, 2016, we carried out "let's make camera obscura!" At the Yokohama Industrial Technology Support Center. The capacity was 20 people, but nearly 70 people, received a large number of applications, and this year we decided to cry and cry this year due to the material and space. I'm very sorry to all those who couldn't participate.
What is the camera obscura?
First of all, what is the camera obscura? I talked about it. It's an ancestor of the camera and comes from the Latin word meaning "dark room". It has been used for observing the solar eclipse since ancient times, and it is said that painters used it for sketches.
Learn the principles
We had you experience what kind of principle it was. Actually, the hot sunshine of the day was the same on this day, but the sky was a little thin cloud and it looked whitish, and it was a bit disappointing for the camera Obskura. I was worried that it would be reflected on the wall of the room, but the upside down view was properly reflected on the walls and ceiling. While observing, I was able to experience the moving scenery, such as a car coming into the rotary and passing the seaside line.
Let's make it.
By the way, in the second half, we finally had a camera obscura. We assemble with familiar materials such as milk cartons, compact mirrors, and sheet-type loupe. It is very difficult to make an inner box that fits the milk carton that hits the outer box, and the point of the work is to make the length that the focal length is adjusted so that the surrounding scenery can be reflected beautifully. But they all made it well and finished it coolly.
Concluding
At the end, the time was running out and it was disbanded in a hurry, but thank you very much to everyone who participated.
